Timeline:
2:00pm: Doors Open. Participants start at Welcome table where you can sign up for the entire six week series. Classes will be held Sunday, January 16 - February 27 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.
2:00pm – 3:00pm: Free Health Measurements at Nurses Station.
2:30pm – 2:45pm: Cardio class. Short class that gives options that allow participants of all levels to lift their heart rate to warm up and improve cardiovascular health. Explain how to do the moves and why regular cardiovascular exercise is important.
3:00pm-3:15pm: Strength class. Short class that shows how to do body weight exercises to protect joints while strengthening muscle. Explain why regular strength work is important to build and maintain muscle.
3:30pm: Cooking demonstration to discuss the importance of finding or meals that refuel the body with carbohydrates and protein to refuel the muscles.
